CALL TO WORSHIP

from Psalm 84

PASTOR:How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!

PEOPLE: My soul yearns, even faints for the courts of the LORD;

PASTOR: My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

PEOPLE: Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.

ALL: I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

PASTOR: The Lord be with you!

PEOPLE: And also with you!

PRAISING THE LORD

Hymn 304
  Come, Christians, Join To Sing

CALL TO CONFESSION

Psalm 32:1, 5

LEADER: Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

PEOPLE: I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.

LEADER: I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”

PEOPLE: And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

CONFESSING OUR SINS PRIVATELY

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Romans 5:1

LEADER: Hear the promises of God to those who truly repent of their sins and trust in Christ: If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness. Let us put our hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. Now, lift up your hearts!

PEOPLE: We lift them up to the Lord!

PRAISING THE LORD

Ensemble & Congregation
  I Stand in Awe

You are beautiful beyond description; too marvelous for words,
Too wonderful for comprehension, like nothing ever seen or heard.
Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom? Who can fathom the depth of Your love?
You are beautiful beyond description, Majesty enthroned above.

And I stand, I stand in awe of You; I stand, I stand in awe of You;
Holy God, to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You.

THANKING GOD FOR HIS PRESENCE

LEADER: We give thanks to you, Lord, for you are good.
ALL: Your love endures forever. Amen.

CONFESSING OUR FAITH

Heidelberg Catechism 29, 31

LEADER: Why is the Son of God called Jesus, that is, Saviour?

PEOPLE: Because He saves us from all our sins, and because salvation is not to be sought or found in anyone else.

LEADER: Why is He called Christ, that is, Anointed?

PEOPLE: Because He has been ordained by God the Father, and anointed with the Holy Spirit, to be our chief Prophet and Teacher, who has fully revealed to us the secret counsel and will of God concerning our redemption; our only High Priest, who by the one sacrifice His body has redeemed us, and who continually intercedes for us before the Father; and our eternal King, who governs us by His Word and Spirit, and who defends and preserves us in the redemption obtained for us.

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. PREPARING TO HEAR GOD'S WORD

Ensemble & Congregation
  You Are My All in All

You are my strength when I am weak. You are the treasure that I seek.
You are my All in All.
Seeking You as a precious jew’l. Lord, to give up I’d be a fool.
You are my All in All.

Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is Your name.
Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is Your name.

Taking my sin, my cross, my shame. Rising again, I bless Your name.
You are my All in All.
When I fall down You pick me up. When I am dry You fill my cup.
You are my All in All.

Repeat Chorus

I Worship You, Almighty God

I worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You.
I worship You, O Prince of Peace, that is what I long to do.
I give You praise for You are my righteousness.
I worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You.

RESPONDING IN SONG

Hymn Medley

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know

Jesus loves me, this I know; for the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me, he who died, heaven’s gates to open wide;
He will wash away my sin, let his little child come in.

Repeat Chorus

More About Jesus Would I Know

More about Jesus would I know, more of his grace to others show;
More of his saving fullness see, more of his love who died for me.

More, more about Jesus, more, more about Jesus,
More of his saving fullness see, more of his love who died for me.

More about Jesus let me learn, more of his holy will discern;
Spirit of God my teacher be, showing the things of Christ to me.

Repeat Chorus

RECEIVING GOD'S BLESSING

Revelation 22:17, 20-21

PASTOR: The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people.

ALL: The Lord is King forever! Hallelujah! Amen.
