CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP

Choir

Make a Joyful Noise (Purifoy)

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all ye lands! Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into His presence with singing! And know that the Lord is God!

It is He that hath made us, and we are His. And we are the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise!

Give thanks to Him and bless His name forever more.
For the Lord is good, His steadfast love endures forever!

CONFESSING OUR SINS

ALL: Almighty and merciful God, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the de-vices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done. O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to your promises declared to the world in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O merciful God, for his sake, that we may live a holy, just, and humble life to the glory of your holy name. Amen.

CONFESSING OUR SINS PRIVATELY

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

1 John 2:1-2

PASTOR: Hear the promises of God to those who truly repent of their sins and trust in Christ: If anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. Now, lift up your hearts!

PEOPLE: We lift them up to the Lord!

DRAWING NEAR TO WORSHIP

Ensemble & Congregation

The Gospel is True

We have a hope that is living and love that never will end.
We have a God who’s forgiven us while we were yet in sin.

We have a grace that’s amazing; a free gift to know Him by faith,
To live for His praise and long for the day, when we see Him face to face.

Thank You, Jesus. Oh, how we worship You.
Thank You, Jesus. Hallelujah, the gospel is true.

We have been crucified with Him, buried and risen to life.
Now justified, soon glorified, we shall be made like Christ.

Repeat Chorus

We Are the Body of Christ

One heart, one spirit, one voice to praise You. We are the body of Christ.
One goal, one vision to see You exalted. We are the body of Christ.

And to this, we give our lives to see You glorified.
One heart, one spirit, one voice to praise You. We are the body of Christ.

CONFESSING OUR FAITH

The Nicene Creed

PASTOR: People of God, what do we believe?

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God,
begotten of his Father before all worlds.
God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God,
begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father;
by whom all things were made;
who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven,
and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary,
and was made man;
and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered and was buried;
and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures,
and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
and he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living and the dead;
whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son;
who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified;
who spoke by the prophets;
and we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church;
we acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;
and we look for the resurrection of the dead

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. PREPARING TO HEAR GOD'S WORD

Ensemble & Congregation

Greatly Rejoice

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who has caused us to be born again to a living hope,
Who has caused us to be born again to a living hope,
A hope that won’t fade away, reserved in heaven for us,
Protected by the power of God through faith, we are saved, we are saved!

We greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible,
Greatly rejoice with glorious praise, greatly rejoice in a life incorruptible,
Love beyond measure, and infinite grace,
Love beyond measure, and infinite grace.

Through the trials of life you’re working to prove our faith as gold,
In Your love we’re persevering for one day soon we know
You’ll explode through the clouds as Your shout cracks the sky,
Dead in Christ will arise as You call home Your bride,
And though we’ve not seen Your face, this greatest glory awaits,
‘Till then by the power of God through faith we are saved, we are saved!

Repeat Chorus

I Worship You, Almighty God

I worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You.
I worship You, O Prince of Peace, that is what I long to do.
I give You praise for You are my righteousness.
I worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You.

RECEIVING GOD'S BLESSING

1 Timothy 6:13-16

PASTOR: In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command to fight the good fight without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever

ALL: The Lord is King forever! Hallelujah! Amen.
