DRAWING NEAR TO WORSHIP

  The Gospel is True

We have a hope that is living and love that never will end.
We have a God who’s forgiven us while we were yet in sin.

We have a grace that’s amazing; a free gift to know Him by faith,
To live for His praise and long for the day, when we see Him face to face.

Thank You, Jesus. Oh, how we worship You.
Thank You, Jesus. Hallelujah, the gospel is true.

We have been crucified with Him, buried and risen to life.
Now justified, soon glorified, we shall be made like Christ.

Repeat Chorus

We Are the Body of Christ

One heart, one spirit, one voice to praise You. We are the body of Christ.
One goal, one vision to see You exalted. We are the body of Christ.

And to this, we give our lives to see You glorified
One heart, one spirit, one voice to praise You. We are the body of Christ.

CONFESSING OUR SINS

ALL: O most great, most just and gracious God, You are of purer eyes than to behold iniquity, but You have promised mercy through Jesus Christ to all that repent and believe in Him. We confess that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We have neglected your holy worship. We have not sought Your Kingdom first. You have revealed Your wonderful love to us in Christ and offered us pardon and salvation in Him, but we have turned away. We have run into temptation, and the sin that we should have hated, we have committed.

Have mercy on us, most merciful Father! In Your Son is our salvation, in Your promises our hope. Take us for Your children and give us the Spirit of Your Son, through Jesus Christ our only Savior. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Zechariah 3:3-4

PASTOR: Hear the promises of God to those who truly repent of their sins and trust in Christ: Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. Then the angel said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you.” Just as the Lord did for Joshua, He shall do for us. Now, lift up your hearts!

PEOPLE: We lift them up to the Lord!

CALL TO WORSHIP

Psalm 118:24; 34:3

PASTOR: This is the day the LORD has made;

PEOPLE: Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

PASTOR:O magnify the LORD with me;

ALL: Let us exalt his name together.

CONFESSING OUR FAITH

Isaiah 51:3; Luke 4:18-19

PASTOR: The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins;

PEOPLE: He will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord.

PASTOR: Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

ALL: Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. PREPARING TO HEAR GOD'S WORD

Ensemble & Congregation
  You Are Lord of All

Lamb of God, You've come to dwell in our hearts, Immanuel;
Perfect sacrifice of Love, You are Lord of all.

Word of God, Refiner's Fire, be our heart's one pure desire;
Cleanse, refresh and make us new, You are Lord of all.

King of kings, we humbly bow as our hearts enthrone You now;
Holy One receive our praise, You are Lord of all.

Lamb of God, You've come to dwell in our hearts, Immanuel;
Perfect sacrifice of Love, You are Lord of all.

King of kings, we humbly bow as our hearts enthrone You now;
Holy One receive our praise, You are Lord of all.
You are Lord of all, You are Lord of all.

  Here in This Place
Lay your burdens down, every care you carry
And come to the table of grace, for there is mercy.

We come just as we are, though we're all unworthy
to enter Your presence, oh Lord, for You are holy.

We lift our hearts, we lift our hands, we fall on our knees and pray
to the King of kings, for the love You bring is here in this place.

We raise our voices, raise our song, we offer You our praise.
You're the King of kings and the joy You bring is here,
You are here in this place.

Fill our lives with praise, show us Your forgiveness
And give us the faith to believe that You've redeemed us.

You are Lord of all and we give Your glory
All honor and power and prise, for You are worthy.

Repeat Chorus

RESPONDING IN SONG

He Leadeth Me: O Blessed Thought - Hymn 600

RECEIVING GOD'S BLESSING

Phil. 2:1-3; 4:20, 23

PASTOR:If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in the spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever, and the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

ALL: The Lord is King forever! Hallelujah! Amen.
