As Town North's Assistant Pastor, I am excited about discipling our youth in Christ! We have exciting and challenging opportunities for our young men and women but what I value most are the mentoring and relational opportunities I have with them. My litmus test for success is not based on the number of kids that attend but whether the love of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit are present. I have seen this body of young men and women grow rich in both.

Two new items for this year are the Senior and Junior High retreats and a memory verse game. The retreats are great opportunities for the volunteers and I to disciple the youth and for the kids to build special connections with one another. I have felt a burden to encourage the youth to memorize scripture, so we will be having a memory verse game with a baseball theme and prizes for the kids. In Sunday School the Senior High will be discussing how a person gets to know who God is and the Junior High will be discussing what it means to be a part of God?s covenant. In the Wednesday night Bible study we will be going through the parables of the Gospels.

I appreciate the opportunity to minister to your children. We'll post more content here on the website soon that should further help you in your planning and in the raising of your children. Pray that in all the things we do in Youth Group that Christ would be proclaimed and that we would equip our youth with His armor!
