Progressive Dinner
On Friday, December 18, we enjoyed our annual Christmas progressive dinner. Thirty-two youth and their drivers enjoyed appetizers and entrees at three host homes of families in the church. Everyone enjoyed dessert together at the Calatozzos' home, where we had our fun gift exchange.
Thanks again to the drivers and host families who each year make this event possible. Thanks are also in order for Pastor John and his wife Cyndi, who both joined in the progressive dinner effort. It was a real treat to have them with us!
All-Night Lock-In
Thirty-one youth and college singles - including several guests of Town North youth - welcomed 2010 with an all-night lock-in at the church. The evening started with games of volleyball and dodgeball in the fellowship hall. We had a devotional from David Zeiger, and celebrated at midnight with ice cream sundaes. The youth then proceeded to their designated rooms for games, snacking, and an all-night "Twilight Zone" marathon. Before leaving, the youth enjoyed a wonderful pancake breakfast with all the extras. This breakfast was lovingly prepared and planned by Wayne and Kathy Bowman, along with Jane Willis. We had so much fun that we plan to make this an annual event!!!
Thanks also to David Cotton for all his help before, during, and after the lock-in. Finally, note that we are very blessed to have David and Heather Zeiger, who work very faithfully with our youth group.
